Upper Union Street, Schenectady Strawberry Fest & Art Show to be June 16 | Arts & Culture

The Upper Union Street, Schenectady Strawberry Fest & Art Show will take place on Saturday, June 16 at different venues around the Schenectady area.

Music acts will include:

• Matthew Connell from the Gypsy Scholars soloing with acoustic soul music from 10 a.m. -12 noon at Hot Harry’s Fresh Burritos, 1625 Union Street
• Sonny & Perley with a unique blend of jazz, Brazilian boss nova, French love songs, and standards from the “Great American Song Book,” from 12 noon – 2 p.m. at Gershon's Deli, 1600 Union Street
• Everest Rising, a tightly-knit quartet influenced by folk, jazz and rock, from 1– 3 p.m. at Home Style Pizza, 1720 Union Street
• Aaron Civic at Trustco, 1620 Union St. 

The bands have been partially funded by the host locations and restaurants, Schenectady County through a CIP grant and Head to Tail Pet Wellness Center, Michael’s Shoe Service and Northeastern Fine Jewelry.
