'Thursday Night' concerts and events announced | Arts & Culture

The Town of Niskayuna has announced the schedule for its concerts and events for the summer.

They will be held on Thursday evenings at the Gazebo at Town Hall and all concerts and events will be free to the public. All concerts will begin at 7 p.m.

“We encourage all residents to come and enjoy these concerts with your neighbors and friends.  Bring a lawn chair and a snack, and relax and listen to the various musical artists,” said Niskayuna Supervisor Joe Landry in a statement.

June 14th - The Bill Lawrence Trio - Featuring Niskayuna’s own Chris Dollard.  Light jazz and pop from Sinatra to the Beatles

June 28th - The Rogues- Beatles to Bon Jovi, Rock-n-Roll music from the 50’s to today

July 12th - The Misty Jazz Kats - classics from the standard jazz repertoire as well as contemporary and popular songs.

July 19th - Winchester and Young- Classic rock with blended harmonies

July 26th - Nisky Dixie Cats -Family friendly, Dixieland style music 

August 2nd - 2 Broads with Alotta Sound - Music from all eras, in styles ranging through jazz, blues, country, pop, and beyond. 

August 9th - Schenectady County Movie Night – movie TBD
