Police in Schenectady investigate shooting
SCHENECTADY - Police are investigating a shooting that happened Thursday evening in the area of Steuben and Emmett streets. Police are still searching for suspects.
The two victims are 18-year-old Talib A. Farmer who was hit by bird shot in the head and legs and 32-year-old Donna J. Perez who was shot once in the stomach.
Both were transported to Albany Medical Center. Perez underwent surgery for her injuries but both victims’ injuries were deemed not life threatening.
A man was taken into custody and questioned overnight, but he was later released. He has not been charged.
