Man shot in the back in Schenectady | Crime
SCHENECTADY - A man is recovering in Ellis Hospital following a shooting Friday morning in Schenectady.
The incident occurred around 4 a.m. in front of Doug's Tailgate Tavern at 1490 State St. The victim is a 28-year-old man who suffered a gunshot wound to his upper back. He was treated on the scene and transported to Ellis with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing dark colored clothing and last seen leaving the area eastbound on State Street. So far no arrests have been made.
